Honoring Our Fallen EMS Personnel
Welcome to the Lighthouse Uniform Company and our Fallen EMT /
Paramedic Dress Uniform Program. Hopefully this visit is motivated by
curiosity. If motivated by need, please click here.
As you probably know, the EMS world is 'dressing up.' A Class 'A' Dress Uniform Standard has been adopted (for a brief history, click here). It is a uniform that reflects the pride and uniqueness of Emergency Medical Services personnel. It also reflects a 'coming of age' and the EMS Community's desire to take its rightful place with Police and Fire at America's Emergency Services 'head table.'
The Fallen EMT / Paramedic Dress Uniform Program is a collaborative effort between the Lighthouse Uniform Company, JEMS and the National EMS Memorial. Its goal is to insure any EMT / Paramedic killed in the line of duty, be afforded the opportunity to be buried in a Class 'A' Dress Uniform. All that is required is a call from the affiliated organization.
For more information on the Fallen EMT / Paramedic Dress Uniform Program, click here. In the meantime, please consider this a personal invitation to participate. Hopefully, you will never have to use it, but if you do, please don't hesitate to call.
